He has to laugh a little at that. It's very, very sweet- and so is her smile. "You are truly wonderful, I hope you know that." She makes him feel warm and wanted. Not just a thing, a weapon, a ghost. He just hopes he can be there for her too.

He reaches out to brush her hair back. "I'm- a mess. I haven't been good for anyone in a very long time and I'm nervous that I won't be good at any of this with you- and I want to be. I really want to be."
